After years of traveling the world doing community development projects in the aftermath of natural disasters, Nishan has found his home on the beautiful west coast of Vancouver Island. Through his work and travels, he found a passion for alternative styles of structures and came back to Canada with a goal to change the look of the West Coast event industry. Through this, Shady Spaces was born. In the moments in between working, he keeps busy hiking, disc golfing, and enjoying all the island has to offer.

Partner - operator - mainland bc / alberta

Chris became a part of the Shady Spaces team after the first year of operations. Initially attracted to the music and events industry, Chris began setting up tents for festivals and events. He quickly became aware of the bigger picture with the business and grew with Shady Spaces into a partner role. Chris now proudly runs operations on the mainland, spearheading the Kootenay region, as well as Calgary & the Bow Valley. He spends his summer working hard with the business, and enjoys his off season by focusing on his music production, snowboarding, backcountry hiking, and quality time with his dog, Snoop.
